Attorney Murat Serkan Atlı carries forward a legal legacy built over five decades — one defined by integrity, scholarly rigour, and an unwavering commitment to the individual before the law.

He is a 2005 graduate of the Faculty of Laws of Maltepe University in Istanbul. He holds a certificate from Sels College in London. He has been an active member of ATLI & ATLI Law Office since 2005, and a member of the İzmir Bar Association ever since.

He holds an LL.M. with thesis in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent in England. His post-graduate studies include particular research in the fields of International Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Information Technology Law, Electronic Signature, Maritime Law, and International Arbitration Law. He completed his master’s at the University of Kent with a thesis on International Agreements of Arbitration and Comparative Studies of Turkish and British Arbitration Law. He is currently pursuing a second LL.M. in International Corporate and Commercial Law at King’s College London. In addition, he is studying sociology as a second bachelor’s degree at Istanbul University.

He is a professional user of network systems, all operating systems, hardware, and professional programming and information technology — a technical depth that directly informs and enriches his practice in IT law, placing him among a rare cohort of attorneys equally fluent in code and in court.

After the passing of Lawyer Ahmet Şükrü Atlı — who practised law from 1974 until his death in 2020 — Murat Serkan Atlı assumed leadership of the ATLI & ATLI offices in Izmir and Istanbul, continuing to work as a worthy successor to his Great Master, carrying forward the firm’s founding values of integrity, respect for the individual, and the rule of law.
